By submitting a quote request or booking a delivery with Cambrian Couriers, you agree to these terms.
1. Who We Are
Cambrian Couriers is operated by Big Bulldog UK Ltd, Company No. 15946705, based in South Wales, United Kingdom ("we", "us", "our"). We provide same-day and urgent courier delivery services throughout the UK.
2. Quotes and Bookings
Quotes provided through our website form, by phone, or by text are estimates based on the information you give us (collection and delivery postcodes, item type, and urgency). The final price may be confirmed or adjusted once we have full details of your collection.
A booking is only confirmed once we have contacted you to agree the price, collection time, and delivery details. Submitting the quote form does not automatically confirm a booking.
3. Your Responsibilities
When booking a delivery, you agree to:
- Give accurate collection and delivery addresses and contact details
- Correctly describe the item(s) being sent, including size, weight, and any special handling needs
- Ensure any item you send is legal to transport and does not contain prohibited, dangerous, or hazardous goods unless specifically agreed with us in advance
- Ensure someone is available at both the collection and delivery address at the agreed times, or provide clear instructions if not
4. Medical, Legal & Sensitive Deliveries
For medical, healthcare, or legal document deliveries, it is the sender's responsibility to package items appropriately and to advise us of any specific handling requirements before collection. We can discuss these requirements directly with you when you request a quote.
5. Prohibited Items
We do not knowingly transport illegal items, dangerous goods, weapons, or anything requiring specialist hazardous materials handling unless this has been explicitly agreed with us in writing beforehand. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a booking if we reasonably believe an item breaches this.
6. Cancellations
You can cancel a booking any time before collection by contacting us on 07368 825060 or 01639 410207. If a collection has already been attempted or completed, cancellation may not be possible and charges already incurred may still apply.
7. Liability
We take reasonable care in the collection, transport, and delivery of every item. However:
- We are not liable for loss or damage caused by inadequate packaging by the sender
- We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control (e.g. traffic, weather, vehicle breakdown, third-party access issues)
- For high-value or fragile items, please let us know in advance so we can discuss appropriate handling and any limits on our liability for that item
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that cannot legally be excluded or limited under UK law.
8. Pricing and Payment
Prices are agreed with you directly by phone or text once we've reviewed your quote request. Payment terms will be confirmed at the time of booking.
9. Complaints
If something goes wrong with your delivery, please contact us as soon as possible at hello@cambriancouriers.co.uk or by phone, and we will do our best to resolve it promptly.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The date at the top of this page will always show when it was last updated.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
